Got my Iphone 4 yesterday and was worried if it would pair with my 645ci with Idrive (latest firmware on idrive) and it works perfect! Signal bars, contacts etc all work as they should.........

My iphone4 also works well with bluetooth, but doesnt sit in the cradle properly.
Im going to try this at some point
and
which basically pads out the back of the cradle for the new iphone to fit into an older cradle (i.e tomtom cradle etc).
Will hopefully try this tomorrow and post the results

Can anyone advise if the snap in cradle for the F10 530D will allow the iphone 3gs running iOS4 to play music through the idrive? If not, is my only option to plug into the USB/ jack socket with a Y cable?
At the moment. I'm getting nothing from either option. On my idrive, it just says usb not connected. AUX is highlighted but does nothing.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Actually I noticed bluetooth disconnection some times for no reasons. I had to go to iphone bluetooth setup and tap on BMW93484 device to be able to connect again.
