xda II with 530

In the end I upgraded to XDA IIi and this pairs beautifully and allows calls to be made and recieved but thats it, :thumbsdown: no phone book or any top 8 etc.

but with the XDA IIi pairing does it mean that if you initiate a call from the XDA itself it still uses the bluetooth in the BMW i.e. headset so you can talk handsfree?

Whats the quality like?

I had problems with the XDA II to connect to many BT devices. You need to update the BT stack on the XDA II. Try this forum and they can give you a link to a third party BT stack update:

I've tried the XDA IIs and although it pairs fine and I can make and receive calls, it does not upload contacts.

I've tried the XDA Atom (similar to Dopod 818, I-mate JamIn, Qtek S200, XDA neo) and it will upload the contacts. This is an Atom that was purchased 2 weeks ago.
