I wasn't able to transfer my phone book over to my car.? How do you guys do that?? I have a T68i, BT works fine, but no address book.?
What kind of phone service is T68i?? Is it Verizon?? I seen to recall that VZ disable all the bluetooth function except got handsfree. Could that be the case??

BTW, are you the same JZ from the E39 board w/ 540i?? The same guy that flaked on me when i was in town back in October 2001

cheers,

beewang

You guys must have some secret spell. Mine works perfectly, and always has, but the quality is just awful. Seriously considering ditching the BT system. Personally would not advise anyone to get BT until the system improves.

Actually I think his complaint is valid. It may well be the phone but is likely an older TCU that was used pre-March 04 production in UK models.

Its whatever you want it to be up to 16 digits. It just needs to match on the phone and the car.

Just got my baby back from service. Oil change (~5000 mi.) and bt activation. I couldn't locate my passkey card that I know came with the car. The above post implies I won't need it when I finally get a bt phone. Is that correct?

Thanks much,

Sam

Thanks, Hormazd. Does anyone know what the purpose of the card was supposed to be? Just an advert, maybe?

Sam
