VZW BB Curve user here, no problems....rare to have problems with BB's no matter which carrier from what I've read. Only issue most members tend to have is if you have a lot of contacts...I think 500 was the number, perhaps 250..anyway, easy fix for that is to break the contacts up into groups and set some not to pair with your e60...

Haven't been here in a while so it's
good to be back. I know I know
maybe someone has asked this question
already. Just tolerate me for a bit.

The wife needs a new cell phone that will
pair and download the phone book with her
2006 530i. She's doesn't want an iPhone
and she's not interested in a data plan either.
Right now she has a razor from AT&T and she's
Thinking of moving to Verizion although she
not firm on that decision.

Any thoughts.

And thanks for your kindness
cant make a phone reccomendation because i have an i-phone 3g and wouldnt have anything else... i will reccomend staying with AT&T rather than switching to verizon....

Try unpairing it, deleting the phone name on your idrive and on your phone aswel, turn ignition off and then try and repair and it should work, seems to be abit tempremental at times, but once it works it should work with no problems after that.

I use a Samsung SCH-i760 smartphone, and it works flawlessly! My wife uses her LG nV2 and it also works well, it's really not an issue these days finding a cellphone to pair with our cars, so really whatever she likes SHOULD work!

yeah, it is preference based on type of plan and service you want. AT&T is still your best choice for versatility. i was just being an advocate for not switching to verizon. any BT phone should work with your car though

My family has BB pearls. 2008 535xi, 2007 X3, 2007 328xi coupe. BT works great, no problems.

Good luck.
