Hello.
I still do not know what should I do to activate Bluetooth. I have 05.2004 E61 530d with such options: 607 Teleservice Preparation, 638 Car Telephon Professional. And it is european version. In my armrest I have the org. Motorola-BMW handset:

it has a place for a SIM card:

In the trunk area I have the TCU Module:

the serial number of the module is: 84.11 6948920-01:

and on the Idrive display:

I can pair my mobile (Nokia6300) with the car without problems, but I can not use it. The only phone I can use is the handset Motorola in which I have prepaid sim card. The only think I want is to pair my private mobile and use it everytime I m driving the car.. What should I buy/change to solve my problem? Is anybody on this forum have the TCU Modul (Car telephone Proffesional) and can pair and use the mobile?

Regards
kufel

As far as I know it is not possible to pair and use other phones when the car is equipped with an handset with a SIM card.
Other friends of mine are in the same situation,

But I'm almost sure, that someone on this forum has TCU and uses his own mobile..
