My trying to get my bluetooth going in my '05 545 that was supposed to come already with it set up, nov build.

they are telling me that they need to upgrade my car to version 13.4 of the software in order to make it function because the SMG module would not upload on my car.

first of all, is there even a version 13.3?

secondlly, does anyone think i will get a car back that actually works?

 

Never heard of V13.4 but there is a 13.3. If your dealer knows what they are doing you should get back a working car. But if they are really up to date then they should have V15 within the week.

 

Does your dealer have 15 yet? Whats the diff in version 15?

 

I honestly do not know for sure. They said they had an upgrade but had not yet loaded it onto their computers. I will be dropping my car off for an oil change on Wednesday. If they do not have V15 then I will NOT upgrade to 14. From what I understand, the periodic I-drive freeze and reboot, the slow response to the _-Drive wheel and the ridiculously slow start up time are all issues that have been addressed in V15.
