have had the v710(verizon) w/bluetooth for about 10 days now. I like the phone alot, but the 2 issues with the bluetooth/e60 are: poor sound quality on other end and voice command...I say "dial name" and the computer tells me "phonebook is empty". Can anyone help me out wit this?

First of all you have to store all your names in to the car. "Store Name", then speak the name", then speak the number.
Once the "spoken names" are in the memory, you can say "Dial Name", etc. I like it a lot. You can dial using voice commands "Dial Name", "Dial Number" or use the IDrive where you names are stored in the address book.

You can also use the Voice Dialing feature on the phone itself or use the dialer on the phone. A little more cumbersome if you are driving but the option is available. Once it started dialing, it will automatically shut off the radio and use bluetooth.

The sound quality was improved at both ends with the 16.2 software version.

If you need any info on the 710, here is a great resource: http://www.v710.org/forums/

I have had the v710 for four days now (upgrade from the v60). Bluetooth works great and transfers the phone book into idrive (but as mentioned before you must use your own voice programming for the car as it is not the same as the phone)

I did find that after the initial pairing I had to cycle the power on the phone to get the phone book to transfer.
