Oops! Sorry there, Alex...I've mistakenly decribed the WM5torage software with Swissknife for usb HDD's...
http://www.compuapps.com/Download/sw...swissknife.htm

My mistake!!!
Wait, wait .. So I should download this Swissknife that allow me to create a partition in the microSD, right ?
Then the cell will continue to be able to use the other partition but it will loose some GBs of memory . And I would need to copy the same mp3s on both partition .

If so, I think I prefer to get an USB stick .

Alex, WM5torage is used on WM PDA's to make usb connections access the storage card (in your case, your microSD) straight away by selecting the option on the software...it changes your PDA's function as if it is a usb pendrive...

while, the swissknife s/w is to make NTFS formatted HDD's become accessible via usb connections on GW500 or OEM USB...it formats/ partitions you HDD into FAT32 format...(your choice whether to partition or even format the HDD to FAT32...)

Ok, but the point is that I should loose all data that now I have on the memory card ?
Or should I install swissknife and it becomes a pendrive without loosing anything ?

Now my microSD is FAT32 or NTFS ?
Does swissknife only CONVERT the memory card or format it ?
I have some programs and music on it.

Sx, can I connect my Cruise to the Mini ?
I can tell to the dealer to install the aux, if necessary .

It's stupid continuing to burn CDs when I have the phone with me .

Thanks!

EDIT :
Sx, when I connected the cell to the PC, WM5Storage asked me to format the disc .
What should I do now ?
I don't want to format it because I already have programs and music on it .

YEs sure you can connect your cruise to the mini!

Cancel the message for formatting the disk! You don't need to format the disk in order to work!

With WM5 Storage it seems I need to format : I tried on 2 computers and in 'My PC", when I attempted to access the 'pendrive', J:/, he asked me to format . I couldn't open it and the properties showed the cake with 0 mb used and 0 mb free .
Any idea ?

You do not have to do any formats with WM5torage. All you need to do is install that program on your phone's memory and that will allow you to use the microSD as a USB stick.

But only on the car or on the PC too?
If it becomes an USB stick .. It should behave as an USB stick. And the USB doesn't ask me to format, when I access it . I will try on the third PC, I don't know .

Alex, Are you using a Vista machine? Because Windows Vista come up with a weird message saying USB sticks are not in the correct format. Just ignore that message.

Two PC with XP and I can't ignore it because it doesn't open the "disc" and the used and remaining space is 0 .
