Unlocking Verizon Razr
#1
Hello forum,
this might be a stupid question,I've never used verizon,I have always used T-mobile because I travel a lot and GSM is more convinient for me.
I decided to switch to Verizon,a friend of mine gave me a Razr that was used on the Verizon network.
Question,do I have to unlock the phone in order to use it?Does it work just like GSM standard?

I think that the Verizon version does not even have GSM capability, so unlocking it would be worthless. You could only use it on a CDMA network, which means... Verizon... since they are the only jerkwads who have not graduated from that old standard yet.

Do you know anything about 3G or wireless networks - or are you simply bashing Verizon?
Sprint also uses CDMA. 3G/UMTS is WCDMA.
