Fred, get an old Nokia 6310i, fit a second SIM, and leave it plugged into the car.
Not ideal, but it's better than nothing. Then use your P910, but leave it in your pocket.

One problem: I'm forever commuting between the UK and Holland, so I already have 2 numbers. That would leave me with 3.
At the moment I have carry the SIM of the country where my car is in the T610, and the other one in the P910.
Wouldn't it be time for a European network by now?
