So, i just got a 700p treo from sprint. I had a 650 and had no problems with the bluetooth and my e60. Now, the 700 pairs, i can accept calls and hear the person fine, they can hear me fine, but if i try calling anyone, it dials the number on my phone, shuts the radio off, but nobody can hear me! I can listen on my phone and see the number had been dialed but i can't hear anyone and nobody can hear me. Any suggestions? Anyonen else have this problem?

thanks,

Martin

Just read something on this forum and found that a soft reset might do the trick, IT DID! All you have to do is take the back plastic piece off the phone and find the little hole. poke it w/ the stylus.

Hi,

I've been using the 700p for some time now. The only real gripe I have is that for inbound calls, it always displays not the current caller's phone number but the previous inbound caller's phone number. Made for some really interesting business calls when I answered the phone "What's up honey" thinking it was my wife's number!

Outside of that, other than the occasional "I won't recognize the phone until you do the soft reset (poke it in the back with the stick)" the phone works just fine in both my "old" '06 530i and my new '08 535xi.

Cheers!

Whats up with that? I have noticed that id does display the last caller, not the true callers id. Anyway to fix that??? I thought it only happend a couple of times but maybe I am wrong.

I have had the same problem occasionally. A soft reset USUALLY takes care of it. Sometimes, though, it's not enough. If that doesn't do it, do a soft reset AND toggle the bluetooth from on to off to on. BTW, you need to do this outside of the car.
