Hi,
Just trying to get a sense from fellow forum members on how long it takes to connect your phone to idrive via bluetooth.
This is ASSUMING you have already paired the phone - just wondering how long it takes from the moment the key is inserted to when the phone connects...

Mine is a MotoVx and a BB Curve. Both take 70 seconds.

3-5seconds

Folks - this is the experiment I ran:

A) Unlock door with remote
Enter car and start car immediately.

1. Cars without NAV (my neigbours): 35 seconds for signal meter and phone icon to display
2. Car with NAV: 65 seconds for signal meter and phone icon to display

Second experiment:

A) Unlock door with remote
Wait 60 seconds
C) Enter car and start car

1. Cars without NAV: 5 seconds for signal meter and phone icon to display
2. Car with NAV: 6 seconds for signal meter and phone icon to display

I am going to draw the conclusion that idrive does a cold bootup every time door is unlocked with remote.
Nav also introduces a delay
