My Ride: 2008 528 XI , debadged, roof spoiler, trunk lip spoiler, 19" Mirro M6 wheels
How come i can get my phone book, make and receive calls etc from my cell with the blue tooth but i cant get my text messages or blackberry emails too???

I am a real estate broker so I get tons of text messages, one of my realtors just bought a ford escape or something like that and part of the navi system gets blue tooth sms messages, if i shitty ford can get them we should get them for sure, I say it is less dangerous than having to actually grab the phone and look at the message on a 2 inch square screen while driving instead of on the large screen in the centre of the dash at head level, or at least it should work when the car is in park...

The SMS feature was only available on the old BMW phone. The Bluetooth option does not provide this feature and there is no option that will give you this feature.
