I don't think it works.
You might be able to answer calls, but I think that's about it.
BTW, I've got a P900 and it doesn't work AT ALL. Poor form from Sony.
And Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new E60.

There is a P910i user that has his partially working (making and receiving calls) in Canada with an X5 http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost....154&postcount=3
and that there is a SW update for the P910i that addresses BMW compatibility (LVR?s post of 5 December in http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthrea...209#post989209).
In summary, I?ve read of folks that can NOT get the P910 to work (for further info, see my http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php...threadid=465630 and posts http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums...961171-1.html), and I?ll be happy to have someone show me how it does work. I?m pretty knowledgeable re my car?s Bluetooth and the P900/P910, so I am surprised that I?ve not been able to get it to work if it can. Some folks consider it to work if they can make calls without other required functionality, like ringing or consistent ability to use it. My car pairs fine, and then can sporadically make/receive calls. Strange that it is sporadic, but it is. Phone book definitely does not work, even if I try to manually push the address book to the headset (car) via Bluetooth.
Here?s a su,,ary of the reports of P910 + BMW Bluetooth incompatibility that I?ve collected to date:
P910 DOES NOT WORK with current BMW 5 and 6 series:
Test car: 2004 645Ci, build date June 2004, US spec car. 5 and 6 series share same platform.
I just got a P910a (U.S. frequency version of P910) and the combination does not work. Although the phone and car pair and the phone recognizes the car as a headset, the car is unable to recognize the phone as active. On outgoing calls, the phone attempts to use the car?s audio, but one only hears silence in the car. http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e60/5961171-1.html
P910 DOES NOT WORK with current 2004 BMW 3-series:
Test car: 2004 330CI, Build date July 2004 with OEM BT KIT, UK spec car.
(airax) P910 - doesn't work. It pairs fine, but does not download the phone book.
When you try an call, it disconnects from the car.

WORKS with Sony HCB-300 (aftermarket BT kit):
(SioComms) Installed a P910i with the new Sony HCB-300 kit the other day to a 3 series and it worked flawlessly

P.S. I'd love to hear if someone can prove me wrong. SonyEricsson may come out with a firmware upgrade that makes the connection work. I really like the SE P900/P910 and would love to use it in my car. In fact, I like the phone so much that I will probably continue using it, without use of my car's BT system. I can't find an equivalent replacement!
