sony eric k850i phone book problems

My Ride: 520d msport (177), platinum grey, 19's, bluetooth. split rear seats
Hi can anybody throw any light on this, i have a 520d m sport LCI model with ED and a sony eric k850i phone which i have paired with the car but only the contacts beginning with A are loaded from the phonebook to the car. The contacts in the SIM and phone memory are duplicated and i have the latest firmware in the k850i..
Any sugestions would be welcome
