Snap-in bluetooth adapters
My new E61 is ready to be delivered
and I have an Ericsson T39. I don't know the list of mobile phones which are linkable with the bluetooth module of the car. To be honest in my mind there is the will of buying a new handy, but I don't know which one, because I don't know the available adapters from BMW.
Hope somebody can help me to find this info.
Thanks in advance.

I have the T39 as well. I wanted a good blue tooth word phone and got this about 3 years ago. It is listed as one of the fully compatible blue tooth phones.

For example, I tested SE K700i and it was working properly, even if it was on some not-compatible-phone- list. On the other hand, a Vadafone version of the same model did not work at all.
SE T39 and T610 should both work w/out problems tho.
I don't use any cradle or adapter. Phone works just fine from coat pocket and you don't have to pay any extra attention on it when entering and leaving the car.

I'm in much the same dilema as you and have decided to get a new NOKIA 6230i (note: not the 6230) and have all the facilities of a modern featured handy and have full BMW bluetooth compatibility - but will have to wait a few weeks for the cradle which they have publcihed is under development.
It seems that BMW always well supported the NOKIA 6310i which isn ow out of production and maybe they have chosen the 6230i as it's successor..?
