I keep my razr car charger plugged into the power outlet at the rear of the console - by the rear floorboard, and just snake the wire up to the emergency brake area where I keep the phone if it is charging.

Will there be a cradle for the Razor? I realize it has a different connector (smaller USB type) for power than previous moto phones with a cradle but a cradle connection to power and attena to the shark fin would be great.

There cannot, and will not be a cradle for the RAZR. End of story.

i like to keep my razr charged from the same source under the glove box, however, i keep my phone in the mesh net near the passenger foot well. seems to work pretty well. (i always hook my power cord to the mesh net for easy access)

charley

sidenote:
i still get pissed off when i can not leave voicemails for people, because it took them 4 rings to transfer to voicemail. -- tcu/bluetooth just ends the call!)

Yeah that's the only disadvantage of having such a small phone. Mine did not last a whole day yesterday... crapped out on me before i got home.

The RAZR is the same phone as the old V600, except for the form factor of size and battery life, according to Motorola.

For better functionality at far less cost, get the V551. It has a headset jack, push-to-talk, video capture and a snap-in adapter.

True, but V551's battery life still sucks. I bought an aftermarket battery that carries 1100mAh (35% more than the original battery), so it gives me 36 hr standby with BT on all the time.
