Phone Icon on the screen???

My Ride: Alpine White/Biege 545i, CWP, Nav, Active Steering, Auto Step ordered 2/1/05
For the past couple of days I have noticed that there is this wireless phone icon displayed at the bottom center of the screen next to the strength bars. Had never seen this earlier. The only thing that I had seen there was the roaming triangle.
I haven't had any S/W upgrades for ~4 months now and am wondering how this came about!!!!!

No, it's just the indicator that you missed a call while the phone was paired to the E60. If you select "missed calls" in the UI and look at each of the entries there, the phone icon will go away.

I like the phone icon more than triangle icon. Just leave it the way it is, and don't check the miss call.

I had the same experience. Until recently it was always the triangle - even though I was not roaming! Now it is the phone icon. I will check my missed calls log tonight, but as recommended above, I won't clear anything because I like the phone icon better!

I like to see the phone icon on too. I even use another phone to call my cell phone and not answering it to make the phone icon appears.

It seems like you guys don't use Motorola phones...?
(I have the triangle on my phone almost all the time. The Bluetooth module in BMWs are made by Moto also, so I'm used to seeing the triangle)

My phone is a Mot V600. The phone icon has happened to me.
