so when the car went in for servicing I told the dealer to look at it. They changed the Cradle and then told me when you come to pick up the car bring the phone. Now I had got the craddle installed through the dealer but purcased the Orignal BMW phone used from e-bay for 150 bucks. The dealer checked the phone and told me - the software is outdated and BMW recommonds not using this version of firmware -on the phone - at this point I am thinking okay gotta dish out 600 dollars - then he goes in brings a brand new phone and gives it to me - under harware replacement no cost to me - apologizes that I will have to feed all the numbers again....what can I say,,,,I am speechless

 

They supposedly fixed the echo problem in CIP 15.2 (I think...)
