So you're saying you were able to update the phone's firmware over the cellular network? That's pretty cool -- I didn't know that was something anyone was doing.

Glad to hear you're up and running now...
Apparently. I don't pretend to be an expert, but it was an option in the Tools section of my phone. Had never noticed or used it before, but figured it was worth a shot rather than driving to a Sprint store to see if they could upgrade it. The last resort would be a new phone, but not needed now...

Well, I am about to give up!! Updated the phone software yesterday, after that it work perfectly. Ran a bunch of errands and everytime I got back in the acr, the phone paired right away and loaded the phone book. Thought everything was good. Get in the car for my drive to work, no pairing. Did re-pair and it worked fine but apparently when the car went to sleep, it lost/forgot my cell phone. Any ideas? Was joping to avoid buying another phone but I am now competely frustrated by this process!

Bummer -- I had a feeling it was too good to be true!

So the phone no longer shows up on the car as paired (in the menu where you'd set the priority?) That's strange. Are you able to play with someone else's phone to see if this is a Samsung issue for sure? Maybe there's something else going on...

Nope, does not show. It acts like the day I took delivery, no phones saved, sends me to the Settings menu to pair a phone. Haven't had a chance to try someone else's phone, that'll be the next step. If it were purely a phone issue, surely the car would try to pair and it would be unsuccessful. That fact that the phone seems to be deleted from the car's memory is more perplexing. And as I said, it work well yesterday but the car never went into sleep mode. Sitting over night it did and that seems to have allowed my phnoe to disappear. Oh well, heading over to London on Thursday so may not get to it for a while now.
