My Ride: 530i R6 SMG M-Sport; Silver Gray & Gray Dakota; Comfort Seats; L7; Adaptive Xenons; Advanced A/C; BlueTooth
... first shut down of the car. Is there sw 4.78 for Nokia because this could be my last try to pair them together? Of course I will change my phone.

and it works fine with the car. I don't know software version on the car though but it was built in Jan 2006.

Really like to know soon as mt car arrives Thursday and I need to replace my existing phone. My current plans are to try a SE w810i, then drop back to a w800i if that doesn't work 100%.

Any Updates on this guy's as I still have not got to work? I see V22 is now available for the car I am wondering if I go and get this will my phone now work with it?

It works 100% for me. I have full phone book transfer to car and connects everytime without fail.
When I picked up the car (in march 06), the sales guy at the dealer told me that the 8800 would not work,I still went ahead and bought it and am pleased that it does.

I also have the Nokia 8800, and picked up a new 381i M Sport with iDrive and navigation on the 1st June 06.
The salesman quoted over ?500 for the bluetooth facility so I took it no further, as for me I cannot see what costs ?500, buying the phone was bad enough.
Does anyone know what is involved and why it should cost a huge some of money, I would have thought it was all built into the iDrive anyway.
Is there a link to a forum where mods have been carried out.
