Is it that your P900 won't fit in a cradle or won't pair ? Very surprised if it won't pair as all Ericssons' use the same dialogue.
James - I switched to Siemens S55 because that was the best recommended by BMW AG dealerships. I had a T68i before it and the S55 is so much more inituitive as a cell phone, plus 100% compatible for your E60.

P900 is a no-no as far as pairing goes...it uses a different protocol apparantly!
dealers here all reccommend the T610 or T630 as being the easiest to pair/use etc
Carphone warehouse has a deal on right now where they give you 2 T610's free when taking out a sub to O2 250...seems pretty good as I do use mine a lot.

I did speak to BMW (UK) today who said that in 3-4 weeks a new list of approved phones will be published and a software patch released to dealers. This patch will enable a wider range of phones to work with Bluetooth.

I have a Nokia 6310i and my wife a Hello Moto V600 and both work fine. I especially like the option to have both paired. However it appears only the "main" phone at any point can receive inbound calls.
Both phonebooks sync and you only see the phonebook for the active phone to dial.
All works very well so far, only complaint is I'd like the volume higher when taking a call.
