No communication possible during loading

My Ride: 535D
If I have a call when I have just got in into the it is impossible to communicate as it takes long for the iDrive to load and get Bluetooth connection functioning. 
So if I pick up the call I hear nothing and have to disconnect. Anybody else experiencing the same?
