Don't have your model, but with a previous Motorola I found that it would only transfer the phonebook from the phone or the SIM, not both (I can't remember which one worked - the phone memory or the SIM, but I remember copying from one to the other to get it to work).

I'd be interested to know if you get this working 'cos I was about to get this phone myself.

Chris
I have all my telephone numbers stored in the phone and they were read fine from my V3x. If you change handsets regularly like I unfortunately seem to be at the moment then you may find this service extremely useful: Mobical

I have a v3x and the connection works, but it doesnt transfer the phonebook.

Is there anyway that i can fix this, or is this just the way it is with this phone ?
I've just realised (I have only had the car a couple of weeks, so that's my excuse) that the Bluetooth Prep should also show the signal level of the phone on the main screen. I have tried my SIM in the Motorola V3x, SonyEricsson K750i & K700i but do not get the signal 'bars' showing on the iDrive screen; does this only work when you have the snap-in adaptop for your phone?

Reading through the posts on this forum everyone else seems to be having the signal level on their phone displayed on the iDrive screen ok; any suggestions?

Is anyone else using the K750i and having any problems with the signal level not showing on the iDrive screen?

I was using the K750i until recently and don't remember having any problems. This was just via bluetooth, not with a cradle.

So the phone signal showed on the screen ok? All I get is the little antenna symbol but no signal 'bars' to indicate how strong the signal is. Would you mind telling me which firmware version your phone was?
