I'm trying to figure out how/if the in vehicle plug for the moto phones plug into the vehicle antenna. I can see how the 710 or v60 and other old style Motorola phones might plug into the antenna and get power but how does the RAZR plug in? I've only seen the mini-USB plug on the RAZRs and as far as I know there is only four pins in this setup and two are for power. Are the other two data pins used for the antenna? Or is the phone only getting power from these pins?

I want to see if I can use a 710 cable (old style for my A630) or the RAZR plug for a PEBL. I don't care for the phone options currently supported.

On the back side of Razor V3 and V3i there is a small rubber "button", under which you can find Antenna's connector.

You are right about the mini USB port in V3, only for power and data. In BMW's new V3 cradle, it has a coil in the middle of the bottom part. This coil is connector to the shark fin antenna. Therefore, V3 is "connected" to the shark fin antenna via the induction between phone antenna and the coil inside the cradle.
