It's done, dealer agreed to give it a shot after I brought them their service bulletin explaining that it could be done, which I have you guys to thank for. They upgraded the software to 15.2 at the same time. Only made one call, but it worked.
Heres what this cost me; switching to cigular and buying a Razr V3 phone $259.00 from Amazon after rebates. Dealer charged me $244.86 including tax was it worth it? You bet, I'll post again after I have a couple of days to play. This car just gets better.

Hey there!
That's great news indeed! Congrats and thanks for sharing the good news here! Been personally waiting for things to work and settle down, if you will, before finally taking the plunge on the Bluetooth hands-free interface.
What month build/production is your 2004 car? I have a March 2004 545i build. So upgrading to 15.2 version software or higher should do it, coupled with either the Motorola V600 (I read from another thread here) or your Razr V3???
Many thanks again for sharing the good news here. Finally, we have a hands-free Bluetooth working on our 2004 issue 545i's!! Looking forward to hearing your additional feedback in the days ahead when you really test her out! Thanks again!
Regards,
GOLD PANDA
