My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
Lost all my contacts with the phone. Can I retrieve my contacts in iDrive without the phone?

Your contacts are still in the car, but there is no user method to retreive them. I regularly back up my contacts to a PC. There are many utilities available to do that. If you have a Motorola phone, their Phone Tools product is a great one. Also, some carriers, like Verizon offer an extra service, like 'Backup Assistant' for the less tech savvy.
