I thought that I read that the 700w pairs fine but won't transfer the contacts. In any event, I'm going to try it today so I'll let you know.

The 700w had no problems pairing with the car the first time. I tried several calls and all worked well with clear reception and no issues. As expected, no Contact numbers were available in the address book - just the ones in speed dial.

What software version is the V3M running? Latest version is NEWC_01.05.0A. It's worth a looky-see, read somewhere about older software version acting up.

I'm going to wait to bring it in until they have the PROGMAN 25xx available so I can get the upgrade. The Service Mangager at my delaership is checking on the timing of their receiving it. I think I heard sometime in March. The Bluetooth issue is not so terrible that I can't wait. I'm also going to get my HUD display adjusted a little higher - my wife has trouble seeing it completely.

Those updates scare me. My ride is 14 months old and I've not had one done. Wierdest thing is that I experienced this hiccup two days ago. The I-Drive screen showed the phone but it wouldn't work. Rebooted the phone, same thing- icon was in the display but the phone woudn't fucntion. I got to work, turned the car off, restarted it and the phone worked fine.
