Today I set up my v600 with the bluetooth, I thought the options I got with my car was cool but this ranks up at top with the rest of them it works great with the voice actavation and is simple to use 5 min. of playing with it and I am an expert, hope everyone else is having the same luck.

The in car audio quality is great I am told on the other end it's better then a speaker phone, not as good as a phone, The bluetooth came with the car so there were no charges and it took about 2 hours, my dealer gave me a loaner car while they did the work

Does the 13.3 software allow you to do that?

Can you tell us more about the features and the voice activation?? The V600 allows multiple entries per contact.? When using voice command on the newer Motorolas, you say "Name Dial", John Smith", "Work" and it prompts you all of the way.

The I-drive BT module sorts numbers Alphabetically, Top Eight, Missed Call, Dial Number etc. It can also access the all phone book entries on the I-drive screen which were loaded from your cell phone by listening to the name that you say, and searching the phonebook. It does this without requiring you to verbally record the name in either the cell phone or the cars phone system. It is amazing. It is incredibly accurate. It says the name so that you can confirm the selection with a slight German accent. For example Motor Werks is pronounced Motor Verks when it says the anme back to you. BMW Bluetooth is a joy to use. I like it a lot.

[/quote]Paul, I understand, but I am wondering if the BMW software could handle that if you did have a multi-entry contact, like the software on the handset is set up to do.
On the Motorola handsets, you can either configure them to choose from all contacts, or just the primary contact. It's a great feature because it really shortens the list of contacts you need to scroll through. I know BMW and Moto work closely, so I was wondering if the voice commands on the handset match those on the car.

I just Loaded up my new v600 phone with my phone book I had a nextel phone without bluetooth so I changed phone companies the down fall is my other phone I could put a name in and then the work, home, cell, ect. in 1 listing the new phone has to have a different stored number for each item, well I entered 85 names and numbers put the phone in the car and with in 10 mins. they all transfered to the cars phonebook. the voice act. is great even if I say Jeff work, jeff cell, Jeff home, it gets it right everytime, also when calling a number that is not in the phone book you don't have to say 1 number at a time just say area code and number in 1 sentance and then say dial.
