IPOD Integration Problem

Yesterday my E61 was in a BMW Dealer more than 5 hours to be update for installing an IPOD Intrgration.

In the end of the day, they tell me that was finished, but when and i was going to test it, and it doesn't work.

They tell me that the problem was the Interface that was broken, they are going ask a new to replace it next week the interface.

In the Idrive, appears the CD1 - CD2 - CD3 - CD4 .... but nothing more

...ummm are you expecting iPod as one of the iDrive menu selection?

that seems to be the way it should be... CD2-CD6 are access to your iPod, w/ the iPod connected can you select any of CD2-CD6 or are they greyed out (dimmed)?

When i click in CD2 or CD3 nothing work.

The strange is tha Manual of the interface is for an Seven Serie

Something is not right. As I recall from my 2004 545, when the iPod adapter was installed (BMW OEM), the 6-disc went from CD1, CD2 etc., to CD1*, CD2*... indicating that the iPod was there, not the old 6-disc changer.
