Does anyone know when the iPhone 3G snap in adapter will be out?
I am considering buying the 1st gen iPhone adapter but read that its a snug fit and the 3G will have trouble popping back out or something. I would rather wait if the 3G version will be out soon....

Guys, I know that I'm resurrecting very old topic, but I'm curious to know the answers of these questions:
1. Will I be able to play Mp3 files from iPhone's library if i buy this module? My bimmer (530XD, LCI) is equipped with USB (6FL) option, if that matters..
2. Since I have two phones (both iPhone , will I be able to connect both phones simultaneously? I mean - the first phone will be connected via snap-in interface while the other should use the Bluetooth for that connection. Is this possible?
Any thoughts are appreciated!
BR,
Dani

1. Yes.
2. Not really. Only one phone would be active for using as a phone and only the one in the snap-in would be available to play music.
The snap-in adapter still connects to the car using bluetooth I think. It just charges, and sits there and can be used simultaneously for music.

Thank u guys for your answers. I have one more here - is SA6FL option capable to play music from the iPhone library? I have a friend of mine who has E92 and He's able to directly plug his iPhone to the USB port of the car, and start playing songs from it. Is this somehow possible here? Perhaps I need to update the software or I might be wrong?
Thank u once again!

Could u please be more specific? What needs to be done in order make that possible? I tried with my both phones 3GS/4 and iPad as well - nothin' happened (if I don't count the possibility to charge my 3GS).
Looking forward!
