I searched around on these forums, but haven't seen much about this in a while. Has anyone installed the BMW Snap In Adapter for the iPhone? Does it work well with the roof-top antenna? I suppose you won't get a boost in signal, just a better view of the sky. Thoughts? Feedback?

Not sure why you say that. You should see a stronger signal.

i was interested in these for a while. it would be great if they have iphone synced to listen music, too.

anyways, does anybody know if this accessory works with pre-LCI?

I'd also be interested in hearing anyone's stories on this topic. PLanning on getting and Iphone in a couple weeks and would like to be able to mount/charge/play music/use bluetooth for phone from one dock.

I know that may be Nirvana but thats what Im hoping and I can figure out.

I'm also pre-lci.

If you want to play music then you will have to buy the iPod adapter kit. This places the iPhone in the glove box, which is not so convenient sometimes.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, unless things have changed recently the iPod adapter kit isn't compatible with the new iPhone charging system so you'll need an adapter for the power as well.
