Oh ar$e.... I've got an iPhone v1.1.4 and my Aug 07 535d has been reprogrammed about 5 weeks ago to try and eliminate an SOS fault and the car was reprogrammed (assuming v29). However, the SOS fault is back and today the dealers have ordered a new TCU and the car will then need to be reprogrammed again which means I'll probably get moved up to v30....
Does this affect all installations or is there someone out there with a v30 and iPhone combo that isn't having any problems?

well everything you need is here but it's hard work to get the right stuff

Basically you need to
Reduce the BS ( Boot Something )
Reduce the BaseBand
Then Restore the older 1.1.2 firmware
All these things are doeable but I didn't mange to find the BaseBand image I needed.
Good luck, although having read a lot on here and apple forums and other BMW Forums I'm not sure 1.1.2 or 1.1.4 will really make much difference

If your phone isnt unlocked there might be the issue too, if it is you may need to restore it take it back to the original settings and then unlock it again I did it to mine I bought it unlocked two nights ago accidently locked it so it was a very expensive paperweight for about two hours did some surfing read how to do it and unlocked it on my own....walked around with chest puffed out for about 10 minutes, very happy boy....beat the system ;o)

Don't worry Graham mines fully unlocked running 1.1.4. I was just talking about the restoring back to 1.1.2 which you can't do simply
