IDrive not responding

Default IDrive not responding

Hi there, i hoping some one can help me.

i got in my e60 on a 55 plate yesterday, my phone would not connect to my bluetooth. when i selected communication it said "this vehicle is not fitted with bluetooth" when i went to my car today it now says turn bluthtooth on. when trying to select it , it when let me activate,

also the Drive is not responding right. it went always move the selection box, gets stuck in the same screen. also when you finally get the radio on it keeps cutting out.

it was all working perfectly this is just suddenly happen.

can anyway please help me

read the error codes, see if there's anything there... sounds like a bad idrive, mulf unit or the MOST ring could be bad.

its suddenly just happened thou. would this happen just over night.?

what is the MOST ring ?

Unplug the blue tooth module.
At least it will rule that out, and the idrive may respond better.

i have disconnected the battery and left, when i have connected it back up still the same problem,

where would i find the bluetooth module ?

It's on the passenger side rear wheel arch behind the carpet 👍
