I now have BT - My initial analysis
Of course, thanks to Paul, et al, for starting this quest..
I picked up my car this morning, upgraded to 13.3 and of course, added BT. I expected nothing more than some minor problems as reported from PHarding, and others, who suggest turning the volume down.
Well, after about 1/2 hour of use, and 6 or 7 phone calls, I must say I am extremely HAPPY with the quality of the voices, both ways. In fact, I don't think the problem, at least in my car, was to turn the volume down, but rather, at least on the logic7, the volume can go way way way too high.. so at NORMAL volume levels, it is perfect.
so far, so good. the only thing is I've read here that I can speak the name in the phonebook with NO additional programming, and so far, that is not working!

Mine is working fine with the SE T610. The voice control commands work fine also.

Congrats Wassy !
If you went the Bluetooth route that is an impressive endorsement. I always enjoy your posts.
With voice command, the best approach is to say, for example, "Call Fred". It saves a step. Also with Voice Command, I tend to speak before the symbol pops up indicating that Voice Command is listening. In order for it to work, you have to pause to let Voice Command catch up.
What wireless network and phone do you have?

I got a complimentary upgrade since they had to do other things as well.
also, have Tmobile w/ V600. As far as endorsing Bluetooth, I always did. that is why I was so very upset that there might have been some quality issues, as I had on the X5.. Happy to say, so far, really, so very good!
believe it or not, i would almost say it is as good as the hardwired.. maybe i got lucky?
as for voice dialing.. got it.. problem though is lets say my phonebook say Harding Paul (yes, last name first)... and I say Dial Name, Harding Paul, it has difficulty doing the last , first thing... and recognizing the name, and what do i do about Harding Paul office and Harding Paul Home? (example only!)
thanks.
