That's pretty cool! I haven't jailbroken my iPhone so I can't personally use this but I like what you've done!

I thought someone would've done this already, I search for a BMW theme, and found nothing, so I just put one together...
BTW, you gotta jail brake it ASAP, you don?t know what you missing...

Hmm.. beyond the themes, and ringtones, and Apps that aren't through Itunes, what else can you do when the phone is jailbroken?

I know you can use another carrier too. I want to know because i'm thinking of doing it too, but dont know the pro's and con's to it.

Please do tell.

Endless things can be done to an Iphone once it's jailbroken

you can video record
you can play all nintendo/saga game FREE
you can add theme etc
if you havetmo tzone, you can get tzone $5.99 and hack it to use full internet
there are over 500 app you can add, and there free, the apps that App store wouldnt allow

youtube "unlock iPhone' and you will get step by step tutorial.

I had my iphone 3g jailbroken for like two weeks and after that i quickly reset it to factory settings (unjailbroken ) because it caused plenty of crashes and instability. Jailbroken it again but with the same result.

Now i sort of understand why Apple is closely watching on what to allow on iphone and not. I now understand why it's better to release or to have fewer but WORKING apps / functions than all the functions in the world that work half the time and all they do is drain the battery life out of the device.

So...i can say job well done with the theme but as i stick now only to Apple i can't use it. Even if i had my phone jail-broke i surley couldn't use that theme for more than 10 minutes. It makes me feel so

Does the theme work on an iPod touch? It seems to be an iPone but without cell service, only wifi.
Would I have to jail break it first? Is that even possible on an iPod Touch?

I had the same problem when using the installer app with the older firmware 1.1.2. After a while, I then upgraded my firmware to 2.1 and only download from Cydia which is basicly the new installer, but is much more stable than the installer apps. If you want to use more stable third party apps use Cydia. There is a tool out called quick pwn. It is used for the jailbreaking which allows for third party apps, and the quick pwn tool also gives option to unlock as well. The unlocking allows for different carriers such as T-Mobile. If you want the link for all needed files and software for the 2.1 or 2.2, then PM me and I will link you.
