Does my UK 2004 530I have a Bluetooth module
#1
Guys
Its my first post - but i did spend well over an hour on this forum yesterday trying to get answer to my query.
I have a Uk 2004 530I SE - its automatic, black dakota leather, climate and Xenons (which i think is an adpative pack)
However in the I-Drive menu i can see Navigation (its pro and works), Climate, Entertainment and Bluetooth
If i Click into Bluetooth, it tells me to contact BMW on the UK 0208 number
I have read the bluetooth posts on here but there are BMW owners from all over the world on this forum. and some posts say after 2004 march that a Dealer bluetooth enable option is needed or pre 2004 a CIP upgrade - it all gets confusing as ive only had my car 3 weeks
So are their any UK owners with a 2004 model i think mines a March build date but i dont know how to tell althoguh its on a Post March 1st 04 plate
I have the armrest with the cradle in it but its empty case i think cant see any wiring or even below that for a IPOD only empty sockets unless its all concealed.
Thanks in advance for any feedback

From your description I would say you do not have it installed.
A free version of getting all the info on your car is to visit your dealer and get a full transcript of everything that's installed in it. You'll get a list stating the code, such as "752" and the explanation in text.

I am picking up an 05 M Sport 525D on Friday if its ready - It doesn't have BT. I'm told I need an Ulf module, coding and an aerial.
