Is there any way one a call is connected to dial an extension #? I have a new 335i and there I can select numbers on the bottom of the screen But i can't do it on my 2005 545i.
Thanks

You may also be able to program that into the speed dial.

The latest CIP makes dialling numbers after connection much easier because the numpad available all the time.

Can't say when 25 will come out but you do realize you can gain access to the keypad using your current version, right? Just press down on the current call and you'll see the keypad option. (Yes, the newer versions make it easier to find/use -- many people have no idea that the keypad is available until after they see the new software...)

Also, on earlier software versions, there was a "pause bug" that caused pauses entered into a phone's phonebook to not translate to the car. Instead of dialing a pause (usually indicated by the letter 'p' on the phone's screen), the car interpreted the 'p' by it's alphabetic equivalent '7' (PQRS).

I think that bug is fixed now (and has been fixed for a while) so now I can pre-program a phone number, a pause, and an extension number on my BlackBerry and when I select that entry from iDrive, the car dials the number, pauses, then dials the extension perfectly -- without me needing to use the on-screen keypad.

With my Windows Mobile 5 phone HTC TyTn the car will not transfer anything after the 'p'. So it simply transfers the main telephone number. Anyone else have this issue.
