The only way I can access my Cingular voice mail is to hold down the "1" key on the phone for two seconds (There is no phone number access). Is there a way to check this type of voice mail through the I Drive system? Just dialing a "1" doesn't do it. Otherwise, I have to remove the phone from the cradle. Thanks for any info....

 

I don't have Cingular but based on their information it seems you can access it from a land line so therefore should be able to get to it by dialing a number.

Checking Your Voicemail Messages From Other Phones

1. Dial your 10-digit wireless number.
2. Press the * key when you hear your personal greeting.
3. Enter your personal passcode.
4. Follow the voice prompts.

 

I've got the "basic" voice mail which doesn't allow you to call from other phones. However, thanks to your post, I discovered that if I dial my cell phone number from my cell phone, it goes directly to voice mail access.
