Is it possible to pair my Razr V3c on my E60 without Nav? Basically I want to be able to place calls and recieve calls through the car's voice command system.

My car isn't due for another week, so I can't just go and try it

Nav has nothing to do with communications or Bluetooth so to answer your question , yes it is possible and not only will you be able to place calls via voice commands, you will also be able to place calls via your telephone directory which will appear in your I-Drive screen. I think you will soon come to realize this to be the preferred method compared to voice dialing. With a couple of pushes and turns of the I-drive controller, you will be able to lock in the person's name on the screen and simply pushing down on the controller wil connect you to the party you wish to call.

With all this said, I personally find the easiest and fastest way to call someone is to dial the number on my handset and as soon as I press send you hear the call ringing over the cars speaker and you are on hands free in the car,I simply close the flip on my phone and drop it on the seat next to me and start talking.

To end the call, you simply push down on the I-drive controller and a screen pops up stating End Call, push down on the controller and call is terminated.
