the list of .. "issues" continues ...


as i travel a great deal and make lots of calls to my account reps at different large companies/suppliers ie. Dell, Compaq|HP, Cisco, Microsoft etc..etc...

Since i have account managers at each company, i programed them into my phone book as i cannot keep track of all extensions for each AM.

average number for dell:

800 456 3355 Thank You for calling Dell .... blahhblahhblah ... PRESS 1 to dial by extension> Press2 for....

---> 1 --> 99999 (extension)

in the phone book i program 8004563355pp1p99999
p=pause on a phone.


i can dial this number from my v60it directly. HOWEVER through the iDrive when i pull that number up in the phone book and dial it, it converts the "p"s into "7"s and the follwoing number is dialed all at once:

8004563355771799999 ..... which DOES NOT WORK!


has anybody noticed this issue and reported/consulted with their dealer on it? i talked to customer relations, and my service manager .... both were unaware so far.



so this is major disappointment #2 within 2 weeks of ownership. (besides no ipod & no sat radio)
