BT/V710: People Hear Me, I Can't Hear Them
#1
2005 BMW 330Ci with BMW Assist & Bluetooth. Car also has iPod aux jack, dealer installed. Bought a Verizon V710 to go with it. "Paired" with no problem. Phonebook & steering wheel controls work no problem. However, only my phone itself rings (i.e. not through car speakers). More troublesome is that people can hear me talking during the call but I hear absolutely nothing in the car (though the stereo mutes as it's supposed to when calling or receiving a call).
Any ideas?

My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
Try turning up the volume as people talk. Common volume control independantly controls each volume (audio, Nav, phone) as that source is being used. Make sure someone is giving a good steady stream of dialog while u do this.

I've tried that. There are volume issues (i.e. with the iPod Aux, being much lower than radio's level). I had my wife call me from 20 feet away and I played with all of the volume controls without success.
