They came in on Feb 9th per the label and I got them the next day via UPS Ground. I guess there was no hold afterall...

Yep, got everything all installed already. Going in next week for programing to activate the cpt9000 phone and the BT should work. Picked up my new Motorola E815 from verizon this afternoon also!
I was surprised when it came ... your parts are probably on the way too but with you being in MN ground delivery will take a few days so I guess you'll get them on Tuesday.

It was easy enough. Just follow the directions here in this thread:

My module came in today along with the CPT9000 eject box. I'll get to that install this weekend, have it programmed next week and hopefully be bluetooth enabled by weeks end! Now I need to get a bluetooth enabled phone. I've been meaning to get a new phone for ages.. my current phone is probably over 2 years old so its about time for that too.
The BTUM is just plug and play. The passcode that you must use is written on the bottom of the BTUM on the label.
So far so good!

I've been lurking about. This site has continued to be of great help to E60 owners and you (as well as DAS who I noted many months back to have re-emerged from his hibernation) deserve many thanks.

Guess I spoke too soon this time! I received my BTUM module and successfully paired it with my 545. There were a couple early hicuups but then all appeared to work. Glad to have it (just another toy I'll probably forget about soon !).

Gizzmo...is this necessary for new cars?
Rumor had it that BMW was working on the issue but months and years passed with nothing concrete. But better late than never I guess.
