I have a 2/2004 build 530i and I was wondering if my car supports the CPT9000? What do I look for in iDrive?

Thanks!

Yes. The CPT 9000 is the route BMW offered the early E60 owners as there were issues with BT in the pre 03/04 builds. If you want to retrofit BT, you will need a cradle for the BTUM and the BTUM unit itself. There may be some programming (enabling of phone interface) required as well. The other alternative is to upgrade the TCU.
