Chuckg, any problems installing it and utilizing bluetooth?

Installation is bit tricky if you don't know exactly what plug goes where. Once you figure out how to detatch the plastic plug on the black power supply things are pretty easy. Difficulty actually comes from not being able to easily access things through spaces. First install could take as long as a 1 .5 hours. If I ever had to do it again it would probably take 10-15 minutes. As for utilizing bluetooth, I have not had my vehicle reprogrammed yet. Based on what I've read on this forum, I think the dealer needs to program the car to recognize the cpt9000 phone.

Hey guys,
I found this post while searching around for some info for a customer. We have the CPT9000 BTUM in stock here, and I checked for another board there are currently 300+ on national backorder.

If you can't find the part at your local dealer, shoot me an e-mail and I should be able to get you one.

I paired it with my W600i in an E65 and it worked great. I have not tried it in an E60 and I'm not sure of the install details there.

Here's a pic I took with my W600:

The part number others have used for the E-60 is 84 11 0 410 145 and the one you show has a different part number. Thank you for your information.

The part number we've been using is correct. The BTUM comes with some plastic plate which is needed in the 7 series.. if you order that part number in his picture you'll get only that plastic plate which is useles for us. Order the number in the original bulletin from BMW.
