That was as far as I got from Lomags Dec 5 2004 instructions. After I turn the key back on nothing happens. Both the car and the Treo seemed to be working and recognizing correctly up to that point. I had previously updated my Treo with the palm carkit update. Any idea's as I know this phone has worked here for many of you.

My dealer said he was updating my software to the latest version a few days ago. They kept the car overnight to do so. Does anyone know how to check your software version if you don't have navigation?

I think I know what might be happening. I checked my software version using My530i's Apr 27 2005 post and I came up with 04-09-500 which does not exactly correspond with My530i list which is v13.2 = 04-09-504 or v12 = 04-06-500 but I think you need at least v13.2 to do this correct?

I don't know what version is required, but I do know you need to make your Treo "Discoverable" in the Bluetooth menu as well as select "allow wakeup" in the options on the Treo Bluetooth menu.

Hope this helps.

My Treo has been working with my Jabra bluetooth headset, so my Treo is set up to accept other bluetooth. The car and Treo are recognizing each other.
