Glad to see you were able to get it done. Just to clarify, are we simply talking about upgrading to software v 13.3 and it works or is there more to it?

I have been dealing with a Cingular representative and here is her responce to the phone:

Sorry, its taken me so long to get back to you.
I did speak with my engineers and at this time, the car will not recognize the PDA, or any data at all only voice, so if you plug in a PDA device the car will only read the phone capability, that's what they told me, but I understand you tried that and it didn't work. So, because this is so new, I don't have much to stand with. If you want the phone.....

Sony: T68I - not cingular phone
Motorola: V600 - discontinued due to software issues, new replacement will be coming out late November.
Sony: T610 - discontinued
Sony: T616 - discontinued
Siemens: S56 - discontinued, but still have a couple in the ware house. So far my customer has been using this model in his Lexus and loves it.
Siemens: S55 - the S56 replaced it.
Sony: T637 - new phone, just came out last month. Motor Trend cell phone of the year. Best reception, best quality and excellent photos.

I am still waiting for warranty tires to arrive, then will bring it in for everything.. about 10 items.. hopefully 13.4 will be out by then! at this rate, maybe 18.4 will be avail!

Further Testing and call to Phardings dealership.
Tested the retofit again today with a V600. The sound was great, especially when volume was turned down. The address book did not synch. So I called Brink at Moterwerks. They had BMWNA do some special probraming on phardings car to make everything work. I do not know the details because I haven't actually spoken yet with Bob Paduch. Paul, can you pull some weight and find out exactly what special programming was done?
Also, whereas Assist worked the day I got back the car, it is malfunctioning now after I paired the last V600. (it started working again when the car was restarted)
TMobile has no coverage around my home so the V600 route is no go for me. I have to wait and hope that the V710 will perform as promised.
