My Ride: '04 545i SMG, silver grey, grey Dakota leather, dark poplar, 124's, Nav, Logic 7, PDC, CWP, xenon adaptive lights, comfort seats, electric rear sunshade, hardwired V1, Bluetooth, Aux input, Progman 25, poplar wood trim front lower dash and rear cente

Well I finally picked up my car today and I'm happy to report that Bluetooth is functioning perfectly

. They ultimately had to replace my TCU and reprogram the car for Bluetooth functionality but it's now working great - paired with my Moto V600. Phonebook transferred without any problems. Sound quality is very good. I called my voicemail and left a message while driving on the freeway. Even with my runflat tires singing away :'( the quality of the call was just as good as if I had been holding the cellphone directly. I'm very satisfied with the BT functionality

That's great to hear!

Mabye I should call my dealer to request they have a TCU ready in case they need to replace it. I have had my car in a lot recently and I don't want to take it in only to have them tell me they need to order a part and then wait longer.

Did they replace the TCU for free or you had to pay for it. I just gave my May 2004 530 for activation, After much discussion the service guys found the bulletin to do the activation. If the Bluetooth does nto work fine with my Tre650 should they be obliged to replace the TCU.
