2006 Mini Cooper S, manual, sports, prem pkg, nav and kitchen sink.
when I make a call with the iphone through my 2007 550 the person I'm calling hears me perfectly, but for the 1 or 2 seconds, I can't hear them. It sounds like their breaking up, so I'm going " can you hear me" Like I said it's only for a few seconds and the party hears me fine, this is driving me crazy and it's the same problem when I receive calls. Iv'e tried repairng the phone but no luck. Any ideas?

I've not experienced that exact problem, but I have noticed that if you turn off the Wireless Capabilities (not airplane mode or bluetooth, JUST the wireless) the phone works flawlessly. I'd also try repairing it....

There have been a lot of complaints about voice and call quality with the iPhone and almost all of them stem from the Wi-Fi. The problems seem to magically disappear when that is turned off.

Thanks guys... Was considering giving the Iphone to my better half..... I'll switch off wireless and see if it solves my bluetooth woes
