Hi,
Just to explain that my mobile nokia 6230 (soft 05.26) is working well with my new 535d touring, except for the SMS.
So don't hesitate to install this new soft on your mobile

Thanks for the advice quickin.
I took my 6230 to my nearest Nokia service centre, who kindly upgraded my firmware to the new v5.35 version and now my phonebook syncs. Great! (Be aware it is only the data on the sim card- keep your entries simple)
It only takes 5 minutes as is free
I am now looking at getting a 'pop port' adapter which i'm hoping will allow me to use the 6310i BMW adapter. I'll let you know how I get on.
To check your firmware key in *#0000#

I'm afraid the 'pop port' connector does not fit with 6310i adapter.
I will have to look for another way of utilising the car aerial and charger.
